Jeff is a senior music education major at Illinois State University where he studies trumpet with Dr. Amy Gilreath, and performs in the Big Red Marching Machine and Symphonic Band.

Jeff is active in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.  He has served as music director and Fraternal Education Officer for the Nu Omicron Chapter at ISU.

Jeff marched with the Madison Scouts for three years.  He played trumpet in 2007 and 2008, and aged-out as Drum Major in 2009.
