Jason will be returning to the Madison Scouts Brass Staff, serving as the Trumpet teacher for the 2010 season. He marched Mellophone with the Madison Scouts from 2002 – 2004 and was a soloist in the 2004 production.

Jason is currently the Assistant Band director at Knox Junior High School in The Woodlands, Texas. The Knox Wind Ensemble has been selected as a Texas CCC Honor Band Finalist and a winner of the National Wind Band Honors Competition.

Jason is an active trumpet player and teacher in the Houston area and has held clinics on brass playing and leadership internationally. He has also been on the staff of numerous successful Texas band programs in the Houston/Dallas areas including L.V. Berkner High School, The Woodlands High School, and The Woodlands College Park High School.

Jason graduated Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a degree in Music Education. His professional affiliations include Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and the International Trumpet Guild.
