Herschel Wilde began his marching career in 2005 at the Troopers drum and bugle corps, he then marched with the Colts in 2006, and in 2008 he aged out at the Blue Stars. Herschel is currently pursuing a degree in music education at the University of Utah.

He has taught at and assisted with numerous schools in the Salt Lake Valley, and is entering his 5th year as percussion coordinator for the West Jordan High School Marching Band.  Through the years, he has had the privilege to study under many great music educators including Nick Angelis, Brent Montgomery, Eric Thompson, Matt Stein, Steve Ballard, Matt Altimire, Gordon Sizemore, and Doug Wolf.
