Charlie Gumbert is an alumnus of the Madison Scouts and is currently the director of the Pride of Cincinnati winter guard, a position he has held for the past 10 years.

During his tenure at Pride, they have won three WGI Independent World Championships. Charlie began his teaching with the Star of Indiana in 1993 and continued with Brass Theatre from 1994 -1996.

He continues to teach several color guards units including Carmel H.S., Center Grove H.S. and Northview H.S.
