VIDEO STANDARDS

1. You will need to videotape your audition following the guidelines provided in your audition package. This is your chance to shine and show why you have the ability to be a Madison Scout! Your video does not need to be shot with professional equipment, but it should be of a reasonable quality that will enable us to evaluate it effectively.

3. You will be uploading a digital video file to our secure web site. Once you have submitted it, that will be your audition. You should follow these basic guidelines:
   

4. ‣Make sure you use good lighting
   

5. ‣Make sure you are always in the frame of the video especially during any guard work or movement
   

6. ‣Make sure that your sound quality is decent and not distorted
   

7. ‣Do not shoot in HD, this will result in a file size that is too large
   

8. ‣Your audition should be between 10-15 minutes in length and the final file size should not exceed 200 MB
   

9. ‣Submit your video in a common compressed video format, our preferred formats are Quicktime (QT) or MPEG4 (mp4).
   

10. ‣Make sure to name your file with the following convention Lastname-Firstname-Instrument
