Amy Frost is currently in her first year as an assistant director of bands at Georgetown High School in Georgetown, Texas. Prior to her position with Georgetown, Amy was the Director of Bands at Stapley Jr. High in Mesa, Arizona.

She is originally from Arizona, having graduated from Arizona State University in May 2008 with her BA in Instrumental Music Education. Before teaching, Amy toured the country of Japan as a charter member of the stage production "Odyssey" which featured an all female cast of brass, percussion and dancers. In the show Amy performed on trumpet and piccolo trumpet.

Amy is an alumnus of the Santa Clara Vanguard, marching trumpet from 2003 to 2006 and aging out as the 2006 DCI I&E Trumpet Champion. Most recently, Amy was the 2008 and 2009 trumpet technician and Breathing Gym specialist for the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps. She has also worked with the Santa Clara Vanguard A-Corps, Vanguard Cadet Corps, and the Velvet Knights Drum and Bugle Corps.
